Motorcycle Riding Courses

 Basic Motorcycle Rider Course

Course Days and Times

All basic courses are held on Fridays 6:30pm - 9:30pm, Saturdays and Sundays 8:30am - 5:30pm.


Course Fee

$162.00 per person (Your fee will hold a place in the class of your choice.)
$  81.00 for the half-price courses


Course Information

Morotcyles and textbooks are provided. There are loan helmets and cotton gloves also available.
You will be issued a certificate upon completion of course for insurance discount or ticket dismissal.
Successful class completion eliminates the DPS riding test for licensing purposes.

You will receive a certificate upon completion of course for insurance discount or ticket dismissal.
Successful class completion eliminates the DPS riding test for licensing purposes.

 


How to Enroll

Download and complete the appropriate application above.  Send it to our office with your payment or credit card information.


Application Processing

After processing your application, you will be mailed a payment receipt, textbook (if applicable), map and directions to the course location at Texas State University's Traffic Safety Center, and any other necessary course materials. You will be called about five days prior to the class as a reminder.

If we do not have five paid students at that time, the class will be canceled. Your fee will be refunded or transferred to the next class.
