Workshop Information

The workshop runs from 8:30am - 6pm, Monday - Wednesday, with 15 hours of online work.

The Many Hats of Supervision, an enjoyable 40-hour interactive workshop, focuses on the functions, strategies, and logistics of supervision in social work and counseling practice. Professionals may also take this course strictly for 40 hours of continuing education, including 6 hours of ethics. 
 
The Texas State School of Social Work is accepted by the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners (TSBSWE) and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors to offer The Many Hats of Supervision to prospective board-approved supervisors.
 
Social workers licensed as LCSWs may take this training course to become certified to clinically supervise LMSWs who wish to pursue independent practice as an LCSW. Social workers licensed at any level may take this course to become board-approved to provide non-clinical supervision to LMSWs or LBSWs who wish to pursue the Independent Practice Recognition. LPCs may take this course to become board-approved supervisors.
