Yes, I want to help San Marcos High School

Texas State Faculty and Staff:

You may be aware that San Marcos High School is implementing a smaller learning community model with four different "academies" for students to hone in on fields of their interest.

The four academies are:

  • Academy of Applied Science
  • Academy of Arts and Communication
  • Academy of Health and Human Sciences
  • Academy of Hospitality, Business and Law

One of the focuses of the new model is developing "real-world" connections for students. The Office of Community Relations is helping connect university resources with the new Academies. Many university departments have already established relationships with faculty at San Marcos High School.

We hope you will consider some level of partnership with San Marcos High School. Our office can help facilitate and support your involvement.

You can help by becoming a mentor, serving on an advisory board, planning and leading field trips, teaching a class, allowing SMHS students to visit your class, serving as a guest speaker, or many other ways. Fill out the form below to register as a partner and indicate your level of interest.
