CASO FRONT DESK, LBJ 4-11.1

PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Bobcat Build will only accept participation forms through February 25. Acceptance begins on February 1, 2008 and can be dropped off at the CASO Front Desk, LBJ 4-11.1.
- Any student or employee of Texas State may participate. Volunteers outside the university must receive approval from Bobcat Build officials. You can sign-up with a group of friends, an organization, or as an individual to be paired with other individuals.  Signing thE form indicates that you have read all the rules and waiver. If you are under 18, please refer to the “Minor’s Participation Form.”
- It is imperative that the number of people who sign-up on the participation form is the correct number that will participate.  The Bobcat Build committee will use this number to assign jobs.  If the number is incorrect, the group will risk being over or under staffed for their job.  If any adjustments need to be made, please call Campus Activities and Student Organization at 245-3219 or email bobcatbuild@txstate.edu no later than Monday, March 24, 2008.
- Each group should assign a “contact person”, this individual will be the primary contact for all Bobcat Build related information and reminders.
The “contact person” is responsible to:
    - Relay important information to their group and ensure their attendance at KickOff.
    - Attend Bobcat Build and register their group or organization at KickOff.   
    - Attend or send a representative of the group to attend one of the following MANDATORY Bobcat Build informational days:
                Tuesday, March 25    LBJ  4-7.1    8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
                Wednesday, March 26    LBJ  4-7.1    8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

BOBCAT BUILD KICKOFF:
KickOff will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Bobcat Stadium Parking Lot on Saturday, April 5th. There will be MANDATORY sign-in tables at the Kickoff where your group/individuals must check-in.  The contact person will register for the group. Please send only one person to the registration table. Wear old clothes and appropriate footwear. NO FLIP FLOPS! Bobcat Build t-shirts will be issued to all participants to be worn during this event. Your greek letters or student organization name may be added to the BACK of your t-shirt. After a brief kickoff rally, you will be off to your jobsite.  If you will be late to your jobsite, please call the jobsite contact person and let them know.  Please try to car pool, as some jobsites do not have adequate parking space. By 1 p.m., the project should be completed. If you find that your job will not be complete by 1 p.m please call the emergency number provided in the registration packets.

-The Bobcat Build committee has taken many steps to ensure your safety at the jobsite.  If you or any members of your group feel that they are in danger, please do not continue the service.  Please call  the emergency numbers provided in the registration packets.
