Assessment and Counseling Clinic
The Assessment and Counseling Clinic serves to meet the psychoeducational needs of persons in the university, San Marcos and Hays County communities. Located on the first floor of the Education Building on the Texas State campus (see below), the clinic is a resource for people who are seeking assessment for possible learning difficulties or conditions that may affect learning (e.g., ADHD). The clinic offers assessment based on a sliding scale.
Assessment at the clinic is provided by graduate students in the School Psychology Program who are pursuing a specialist degree in School Psychology. All graduate students are supervised by professors in the School Psychology Program, which is housed within the Department of Counseling, Leadership, Adult Education & School Psychology.
If you are interested in coming to the clinic, know some one who is, or simply want more information, call 512-245-2007. Please leave a message and someone will get back with you in a timely fashion.
