Medical Humanities Minor Checklist

This checklist is for advising purposes for BGS students only.

  • Twelve advanced hours in the minor coursework are required for the BGS.
  • A 2.25 cumulative GPA must be maintained in all minor courses.
  • No grade lower than a “C” will be accepted as credit for BGS minors.

  • _____ ANTH 3331D – Dental Anthropology and Oral Biology (Prerequisite: ANTH 2414 or ANTH 3381 or [BIO 1130 and BIO 1330] or instructor approval.)
  • _____ ANTH 3350 – Gender and Sexuality in Cross-cultural Perspective
  • _____ ANTH 4309 (WI) – Culture, Medicine and the Body (Prerequisite: ANTH 3325 or instructor approval)
