  • Twelve advanced hours in the minor coursework are required for the BGS.
  • A 2.25 cumulative GPA must be maintained in all minor courses.
  • No grade lower than a ā€œCā€ will be accepted as credit for BGS minors.

  • _____ ESS 1179 - Beginning Weight Training (F, S, SU) (Restricted to majors or minors in Exercise and Sports Science, Athletic Training, or Health and Fitness Management)
  • _____ ESS 3117 - Laboratory in Exercise Physiology (F, S, SU) (Prerequisites: BIO 2430, or [BIO 2451 and BIO 2452], or [BIO 3425 and BIO 3426] all with a grade of "C" or better. Co- requisite: ESS 3317 with a grade of "D" or better. An overall GPA of 2.0 or higher is required.)
