Biography

Dr. Flasch is an assistant professor of professional counseling. She received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida, and her Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in Couple & Family and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her Bachelor’s degree in psychology was completed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Flasch is originally from Sweden, but has made Texas her new home! Her primary research is in the area of family violence, specifically intimate partner violence. She is the co-chair of the Family Violence Research Team in the counseling program.
