Show events from any of these calendars

This section is for you to choose specific calendars to display. If you only check boxes in this section and hit "Show Events", it will display all of the events included in the calendars you have chosen. 

Show events that belong to any of these categories

This section allows you to choose events from specific categories. If you only check boxes in this section and hit "Show Events", it will display all of the events included in the categories you have chosen. 

Only show events that belong to all of these categories

This section allows you to choose events that are in more than one specific category. If you were to choose the "Staff" and "Film" boxes, it will display only the events that are in the film category and open to staff members. If you chose the "Featured Event" and "Music" boxes, it will display only the music events that are also featured events.

Choosing boxes from multiple sections

If you choose boxes from multiple sections, it will display only events meeting all criteria at once. For example, if you choose the calendar "School of Music" and events that belong to all of the categories "Music" and "Students", then it will only display events posted by the School of Music that are labeled as music events and are open to students. Another example would be, if you chose events that belong to any of the categories of "Visual Arts", "Dance", "Film", "Theatre" and "Music" as well as choosing events that belong to all of the category of "Featured Event", then it would display only fine arts events that are featured events.
