I chose Texas State because of the community and its location. Also, it is an affordable big school that maintains a “small school” feel.
Why Health Administration
Health Administration is a unique program that combines both healthcare and business. Healthcare is a challenging field that will always have a high demand. The program here is well-respected across the country.
Career Goals
Eventually I want to land an executive position at either a hospital or a health-plan provider. However, I am open to any opportunities I come across. Ultimately I want be in a business leadership position and have the opportunity to help individuals live a healthier lifestyle.
How My Major Will Help Me Reach My Goals
The program is giving me a foundation and will open the door to many opportunities. The classes are diverse and introduce a broad spectrum of the healthcare sector.
Best Studying Advice
Go to class and take notes. Don’t study for more than two hours at one time, but study many times prior to a test.

The Rec . What better place to work out and be around people who are motivated and focused. Playing pick-up basketball at the Rec is always cool.

Harris, because you can custom order your meal, and there is a lot to select from. I never leave without a full stomach. The omelets are the best.
What I Like Most About Texas State
Texas State is not only growing in size; its reputation is growing, too, and it is becoming nationally recognized as a top school. It feels good to be a part of that progress. The community and the campus are awesome.
