Clay’s Thoughts on Texas State
Why Texas State
I chose Texas State for a number of reasons. Texas State offers a wide range of undergraduate degree programs, has been rated one of the best value colleges in the nation, and is just the right size for someone who wants to be more than just another number or face in the crowd. Its location between Austin and San Antonio in the beautiful Texas hill country gives a student opportunity to explore the outdoors or take to the city streets on the weekends.
Why International Studies
I love to travel and I enjoy working with diverse people.
Career Goals
I haven’t quite decided on a particular career. I have been thinking about pursuing a law degree after receiving my bachelor’s. I plan to help solve problems in business by creating innovative approaches to upper level management. It is my goal to ethically and efficiently help manage a large multi-national corporation.
How My Major Will Help Me Reach My Goals
A degree in
international studies will give me the tools I need to make well informed decisions on trade and management by expanding my knowledge of the global economy and the role of business in societies today.
