Drum Majors & Section Leaders Auditions
Leadership Positions Available!
Plans for the next year's Bobcat Marching Band are taking shape! Student leadership is an integral part of Bobcat Marching Band, and the instructional staff is seeking experienced, talented, and motivated students to serve in these vital roles.
At least one (1) year of participation in the BMB is required to apply for either position.
DRUM MAJORS are chosen by application review (1st round pre-screening) and a live audition (2nd round, by invitation after applications are reviewed)
SECTION LEADERS are chosen by application review and possible interviews.
Materials are required if you intend to apply for either position. These include:
* Completed application (application is online, check dates below)
* One (1) letter of recommendation (this should be submitted online by the recommender by date listed below)

DATES:
March 5: drum major & section leader applications available online
April 1: drum major & section leader applications due (closes at 12 noon)

April 5: drum major candidates are informed via email if they will be invited for a live audition, and provided with additional materials to prepare for a final audition/interview.
SUNDAY, April 21 at 4:00 PM: drum major auditions/interview in room 224 of Music Building.
End of April: leadership team announced
Finals week: BMB leadership training
