This course is for graduate students and professional anthropologists that want to enhance
their knowledge of forensic anthropological methods. Participants will be provided with documented skeletal materials and casts to analyze and discuss. Usually the course will focus on one or more specific topics. Some of the topics this course may include are age at death, sex, ancestry, and stature estimation, identification and interpretation of trauma and pathological conditions, estimating the postmortem interval, facial approximation, and reconstructing activity patterns. Specific courses also can be designed to meet your needs.
Participants of these workshops must have knowledge of human skeletal anatomy and experience using forensic anthropological methods.
