Broken, 1-gallon stoneware crock found on the surface at 41BP666

Gray, salt glazed, red bricks found on the surface of one site are presumably
from a pottery kiln that may have been located here.

Archaeologists uncovered a chimney base at one historic farmstead site.

These square nails, whiteware ceramic sherds, a stoneware
sherd, and amber glass sherd were found in shovel tests on an
old farmstead dating to the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

This petrified wood chopping tool was found on a prehistoric campsite with burned
rocks, a bifacial stone tool, and flakes.

Camp Swift is located in Bastrop County, in Central Texas.

This chart shows the distance to water from all prehistoric
campsites at Camp Swift. Note that there are no campsites where
archaeologists have found artifacts representing the Middle Archaic period.
