Texas State Ring Ceremony
The Texas State Alumni Association invites alumni, friends, and family of students receiving their class ring to attend the traditional ring ceremony.
Tuesday, December 9
7:00 p.m.
Strahan Coliseum
All rings bear the official Texas State design. The Texas Lone Star sits atop, surrounded by oak and laurel leaf wreaths inside the Texas State name and its official founding date. Old Main is engraved on the left side with the Texas State initials decorating the right hand side. The school flower, Gaillardia, is engraved on the inside.

 Vote Coach Brad Wright - Coach of the Year!
 Coach Brad Wright is one of the top vote getters in Division IAA for the 2008 Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award. This award honors college football coaches for their on and off the field accomplishments. It will be presented to one coach in each of the four NCAA football divisions.
To help Coach Wright sustain his status as a top vote getter, more fan votes are needed! Votes may be cast daily until December 6 by visiting http://www.coachoftheyear.com/.

Join us as we honor the 2009 Alumni Scholars and celebrate the accomplishments of the Alumni Achievement and Star Award recipients. Participate in an inspiring evening where your generosity supports the annual awarding of $100,000 in scholarships by the Alumni Association.
Enjoy a cocktail reception with an open bar, entertainment performed by Texas State students, a seated dinner and the awards presentation.
