Trainings
Individuals who wish to participate in the Allies of Texas State program must attend a training. After attending a training, individuals will receive an Ally of Texas State placard and pin. These two items symbolize understanding, support, and trust. They also signify a "safe place," a place where LGBTQ individuals can speak in confidence and receive help, advice, and support. Ally trainings are offered for four hours of CEU credit. Registration is required. A confirmation e-mail will be sent once your registration form has been received.
Biannual Meetings
Bi-annual meetings are held for current Allies and anyone interested in the Allies of Texas State program. The meetings provide an opportunity to network with other Allies, to continue learning about the LGBTQ community, and to provide suggestions for changes to the Allies of Texas State program. Bi-annual meetings are offered for one and a half hour of CEU credit for current Allies. Registration is required. A confirmation e-mail with the room location will be sent once your registration form has been received. Fall dates for bi-annual meetings will be available soon.
