You are invited to Texas State's Lavender Graduation Celebration on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 6:00 pm in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom.

Lavender Graduation is a cultural celebration that recognizes Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Transsexual, Queer and Ally students by acknowledging their achievements and contributions at Texas State.  

We encourage you to invite your family members, friends, professors, mentors and other allies who played a significant role in your education at Texas State.  They are all welcome to join us at this fun and personal graduation celebration.  As part of the celebration, all graduates are honored with a certificate and sash.  Come as you are, wear what you want, including your official graduation regalia (cap and gown).  During the celebration, you will have the opportunity to share your accomplishments and acknowledgements in your own words. Refreshments will be provided. 

The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, Allies of Texas State, and Alliance want to help you celebrate your collegiate career and as you go forward into new personal and professional horizons.
