Responses to homosexuality vary by denomination and depend on the denomination's conservative or liberal stance. Currently, homosexuality and its place with religion is still being debated by most denominations. The United Church of Christ has become more inclusive and accepting; other churches, such as Methodist, Presbyterian and Episcopalian ones, are still discussing the issue. More conservative churches continue to stand against homosexuality. The general trend seems to be moving toward more inclusivity, especially among more mainstream churches.
