Job 2008-87 - Assistant Professor
Responsibilities
Assistant Professor to work in the area of acting. Individual will teach in our acting core (some combination of Intermediate Acting, Characterization, and Acting for the Camera) as well as in our B.F.A. acting sequence. The individual will also help coach our acting students for the Irene Ryan Acting competition and our New York Showcase. The scholarly/creative expectations include acting at the professional level and/or university level and conducting workshops at regional and/or national events.
Qualifications
Required:
Three years of full-time university teaching experience, professional acting experience in theatre, film, or television.
Preferred:
M.F.A. in acting, experience coaching students, experience working on an acting showcase.
