Job 2008-55 - Associate Professor
Responsibilities
This Associate Professor will serve in a new Ph.D. program in Curriculum and Instruction - Developmental Education and be responsible for publishing research, securing external funding, developing and teaching graduate courses, serving on dissertation committees, advising students, and providing service to the program, university, and profession.
Qualifications
Required:
- Earned doctorate in Education or a related discipline;
- Experience teaching developmental education for under prepared college learners in culturally and linguistically diverse contexts;
- Substantial record of peer-reviewed publications in developmental education, or Learning Assistance, or related fields;
- Experience serving on thesis and/or dissertation committees;
- Extensive service to the field of developmental education;
- Experience teaching graduate courses.
Preferred:
- Experience securing external funding;
- Experience developing undergraduate and graduate curricula;
- Competence in quantitative or mixed methods research
