Responsibilities
This position will involve teaching, research, and service in the Education Ph.D. program. Specific responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in the Ph.D. program with majors in School Improvement and Adult, Professional and Community Education and, as needed, in associated master’s degree programs in EAPS. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a strong research and publication record and to provide service to the program, the department, the university, and the profession. Other duties include supervising and serving on dissertation committees, advising students, and actively engaging in other program-related activities.

Qualifications
Required:
The applicant must hold an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership (PK-12 or adult education focus) or a related field. The applicant must demonstrate potential for research and publication at the national or international levels.

Preferred:
Preferred qualifications include ability to teach a variety of courses in educational leadership and the ability to serve as a quantitative methodologist on dissertation committees for majors in School Improvement and Adult, Professional, and Community Education. Additional preferred qualifications include the ability to collaborate productively with faculty and students, expertise in school-community collaborative, knowledge and experience related to working with diverse communities, and a high level of cultural competence that includes understanding of shifting demographics, race, class, and gender issues.
