Job 2007-79 - Assistant Professor
Responsibilities
Teach and develop graduate courses in School Psychology. Contribute to the
continuing recruitment of bilingual applicants and development of bilingual
school psychologists. Maintain a strong research and publication record.
Work to secure and manage external funds.
Qualifications
Required:
An earned doctorate in School Psychology with licensure
(or license eligible) as a psychologist and as a licensed specialist in school
psychology in Texas. Demonstrated excellence in conducting research. University
and public school teaching experience and three years of experience practicing
psychology in the schools. Bilingual in English/Spanish with experience in
administering and interpreting neuropsychological, psychological, and
psychoeducational assessments to children and adolescents. Ability to
collaborate productively with faculty and students.
Preferred:
Evidence of
accomplished teaching as demonstrated through student evaluations. Experience
with grant application and administration.
